Overview

In this unit, you will photograph a small object from all sides AND from different heights and turn it into a Object VR.

• Object2VR software

Unit07 Creating Object VR (10 pts)

For this assignment you will select an interesting product or object. You will take pictures of it as it rotates around and then combine those pictures into a VR object.

Photography

Take a picture every 15 degrees for a total of 24 shots around. Shoot at least three rows so you will have multiple sets of 24. These images should be of the highest quality.

• Multiple rows with 24 shots around
• Use levels to clip the background
• Resize and crop the images

Build the Object

Using "Object2VR" software, create an object. Export this object for HTML5.

• Create Object
• Crop in on the image if there is a lot of extra white around it.
• Adjust the levels to make the background clip white.
• Export Object

Upload to Web Host

• Upload the HTML and media elements created by the software to your web host

Build a Postcart

• Build a 4" x 6" postcard in Photoshop with a QR code pointing to your object.
• Upload a jpg version of the postcard to Canvas

Submit in Canvas

• Please upload the postcard to Canvas so I can see your design work and test the QR code

Grade

In order to receive a grade for this assignment you must earn 90% of the points listed above.
