Overview
You will photograph a single node in a new location using the 4-shot method, stitch it together. Use Affinity Photo to create a down shot and then upload it to Google using Pano2VR.

Unit03 Publishing a Single Node on Google (10 pts)
Please shoot this in a NEW location. You may NOT reuse a pano from another project.
Image Acquisition
- Using one of the UVA panorama kits and a fish eye lens, take 4 images around. No down shot this time.
- SHOOT in RAW
Image Processing
- Balance RAW images and then convert to 16 bit tif's
- Open these images and stitch them into a spherical panorama.
Down Shot Patching
- Open the TIF panorama in Affinity Photo (available in the UVU Lab) and use the in-painting tools to create the missing part of the panorama.
Quality Control
- Make sure to correct a crooked horizon line if present.
- Do not use trial software for your final submission!
Google Maps
- Add your panorama to a Pano2VR project
- Give it proper map coordinates
- Add a Place Name
- Adjust the orientation (north is north)
Submit in Canvas
- Please submit the share URL to your panorama in Canvas
Grade
In order to receive a grade for this assignment you must earn 90% of the points listed above.
