Unit01 Software Comparison (10 pts)

Your boss has asked you to analyze the feature set and capabilities of four stitching software packages. As part of this analysis, you will stitch a set of 6 images shot with a fish-eye lens using each of the packages. You will then make a recommendation to the boss on the software that your company should purchase.

Analysis

Create some kind of a comparison chart that includes all the categories you think are important. The more through your report the more impressed you boss will be. Here are some ideas that you should plan on covering.

• Cost
• Platform (Mac / Windows)
• Fish eye capable
• Easy of use
• Extra features

Demo

For each one of the packages write a paragraph which describes you experience using the software. This should be similar to a software review. Please attempt to stitch 6 sample fisheye images for each one. These will be images you shoot.

• Review of package 1 with sample image
• Review of package 2 with sample image
• Review of package 3 with sample image
• Review of package 4 with sample image

There may be watermarks on the stitched image but that's acceptable. Please reduce the images to 6 inches wide by 100 dpi before bringing them into the word processor.
